IAQ – Indoor Air Quality

Acronym derived from the words: Indoor Air Quality. IAQ refers to indoor air quality in buildings, that can become polluted and affect the health and well-being of its population.
IAQ includes the full range of possible air pollution, starting with microbiological contamination, various allergens and chemical contamination (VOC, Radon, CO, CO2). Recent studies have shown that indoor air quality often represents higher health risk than outdoor air quality.
