CO2 – Carbon dioxide
A colourless, odourless gas. It’s created in the metabolic activity of living organisms and during the combustion process. By breathing, the inhaled oxygen in the air is changed to carbon dioxide; on average one person exhales approximately 35,000 to 50,000 ppm CO2. The outdoor air concentration is 400 ppm.
